The PVA soldiers bravely resisted the assault, engaging in repeated struggles to hold the position. After transitioning to tunnel warfare, they continued fighting in extremely harsh conditions. In the decisive phase, the PVA launched a resolute counterattack and gradually strengthened their positions. After 43 days of intense battle, the PVA soldiers achieved victory.
